Udall Reunion 2010

This years reunion was held in Christopher Creek and it was a blast!  My cousins husbands uncle owns a cabin up there which is where all the new mommies stayed with their babies.  There were 7 beds upstairs along with 2 king size beds downstairs.  Curtis loved being with his first and second cousins.  You always seem to get dirty, even when you camp in a cabin.  All the family who wasn't in the cabin, was on their own at a campsite or renting their own cabin.  I'm pretty sure my family has decided to never camp again...which is sad cause i love camping!  Anyway, i'll let the pictures give you the highlights.

On our way home!
We were sad that Clifton couldnt come with us.  His work schedule has been a bear these last 2 months.
We loved being able to connect with our family again and be reminded of our sweet grandparents.  We're looking forward to the next one!
Watch for another photo post cause we are packing for our trip to California!

Look What I Made - Part 3

I had this on my craft-to-do list for about 5 months.  I dont know why it took me so long to just sit down and do it, because it literally only took an hour! I did it this morning during Jesse's nap!
I found a tutorial online and followed the steps and i love the results.  I made it about 8 inches bigger all the way around though because i noticed other hooter hiders were kinda small.  I am looking forward to using it and making more as baby gifts!  Love it!

Jesse's Blessing

Jesse was blessed on Saturday May 1, 2010.  It was a wonderful occasion.  That weekend was also the 2nd weekend of the Temple open house so we were fortunate enough to have several family members and friends in town.  Jesse has been such a blessing to our family it's hard to remember our lives without him.  He has such a sweet spirit!  And can i just say that he is the BEST baby!
Grandma Udall (my mom) made his blessing outfit.  Jesse is the 8th grandchild and Grandma has made blessing outfits for each of them.  Tradition.  The buttons are particularly special.  My mom inherited her grandmothers button box and these are from that box!  I love little things like that!
My talented sister Leah took these pictures.  Check out her site out here.

I can sympathize

This is our cat Harley (cause of her coloring, and she purr's like a motorcycle!).  She is a very loyal, sweet, and loving cat.  We've had her since she was a kitten and because of that, she's awesome with kids.  Curtis trained her well.  Lately she's been looking at us with this face.
She has reason to look this upset...She's PREGNANT !!!
Look close...see the bulge?
Poor girl.  She's only gonna get bigger!  Probably double in size!  We guesstimate that she's about halfway through...maybe a month or so left.  At least it hasn't affected her curiosity.
But for the most part, she's happy...obviously!
CHEESE

Stump

Here is a massive beast!  This thing was amazing.  You can see where we attempted to burn out this stump...it would have taken days to burn it out completely.  Brother  Allen and his backhoe came to save us.
Here's the stump with my hot momma. She's 5' 10" and standing on a slope.  I'd say it's about 5 and a half feet tall!  Here is where it came from.  By removing the tree, it makes room for 2 parking spots for the renters next door.

"Forbt"

I remember building forts when I was young.  I loved pretending that it was my house.  Yesterday, Curtis did the same thing...accept he called it a "forbt".  I made it with the TV set inside so he could watch one of his current favorite movies..."The Chipmunk Adventure".  He loved having his own space to escape for the day.  And I have a feeling this was the first day of many days to be spent in the "forbt".
