My First Post
Hello everybody! Greetings from New Mexico, The Land of Enchantment...(or so they tell me). We have lived in New Mexico for over a year now, and to tell you the truth, it's not that bad. We moved to Silver City July of 2005 so I could persue my volleyball career at Western New Mexico University. While we were there, we decided to have a baby! Things were going good for us there until June this year, when we found out that Clifton didn't get in the nursing program. All plans came to a halt and we decided to move here to Grants. There is a branch of New Mexico State University here that offers a nursing program in the spring. We are shooting for that! While we are waiting for the next step for Clifton's schooling, we had a baby boy! Curtis Jeremiah McNeill was born September 12th at 1:11 in the morning. He weighed 7lbs. 6oz. and was 20 inches long. According to the doctors at the hospital (and other medical professionals i've spoken to) he should not be alive today. Curtis was born with a "true knot" in his cord. He also managed to wrap it around his neck twice. He's our little miracle baby! We love him so much and cannot imagine our lives without him.
